About Us

Five Star Social Welfare Foundation is a non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Odisha, dedicated to uplifting and empowering tribal and low caste communities. Our mission is to promote social justice, equality, and sustainable development by addressing the unique challenges faced by marginalized groups in rural and remote areas of Odisha.

Our Work

We work closely with tribal and low caste communities to improve their quality of life through a range of welfare programs and initiatives:

• Education: Running bridge schools, scholarship programs, and adult literacy campaigns to ensure access to quality education for children and adults in tribal villages.
• Healthcare: Organizing free health camps, awareness drives on nutrition and hygiene, and facilitating access to government health schemes for remote communities.
• Livelihood Development: Providing vocational training, promoting self-help groups, and supporting traditional crafts to create sustainable income sources.
• Women Empowerment: Conducting workshops on rights, health, and entrepreneurship, and supporting women-led initiatives for social and economic independence.
• Child Welfare: Rescuing and rehabilitating child laborers, supporting orphans, and ensuring child rights protection in vulnerable communities.
• Advocacy & Legal Aid: Raising awareness about rights and entitlements, and providing legal support to victims of discrimination and exploitation.
• Community Development: Building safe drinking water facilities, sanitation infrastructure, and promoting environmental conservation in tribal areas.

Our Impact
